Q: Why does coldplay never play " hardest part" live ?

When I say live, I mean with the entire band actually engaged. Don't get me wrong, I find their concerts very entertaining, but I just wished they played the song actively. Nothing is wrong with Chris doing a solo performance while the other members rest, but i wish he'd not use that song for his solo piano bits. I feel like it takes the kick out of the song. I'm searching through youtube now, and I can't find a single video that shows the entire band playing this song live. Why ?

A: That's a good question. The only place I've ever heard "The Hardest Part" performed by all four members of the band is on the original soundtrack on the record. On the Viva La Vida tour, they've been using it as a lead-in to VLV itself, as Chris does an acoustic version on his piano. I've actually been listening to it so much that I think I now prefer the acoustic version, although the faster, original one is gorgeous as well. I think that they're just using this new one to change things up a bit in the show -- they want to have acoustic versions of at least a couple of songs, and "the Hardest Part" works out well for that.
